What Is the Function of Anti-Crack Mortar? How Many Kilograms Are Needed per Square Meter?
Anti-crack mortar is a new type of anti-cracking material that solves the problem of cracking in lightweight insulation layers. As a high-quality, environmentally friendly material, it offers high tensile strength, easy construction, and frost resistance. It is now widely used in internal and external wall construction of various buildings.
Construction Method
1.Mixing Sequence & Ratio: Add powder to emulsion in 2-3 batches, strictly following the weight ratio of powder : emulsion = 2.5 : 1.
2.Mixing Process: Use a low-speed, high-power mixer to blend the EPBB 800# vitrified tile adhesive uniformly. Stir for 3-5 minutes until a smooth, lump-free paste is formed. Let it stand for 1-2 minutes, then stir again for secondary homogenization.
3.Tile Preparation: Clean dust and release agent from the back of vitrified tiles with a damp cloth.
4.Adhesive Application: Use a roller or brush to apply EPBB 800# vitrified tile adhesive evenly on the back of vitrified tiles.
5.Drying & Subsequent Construction: Stack the tiles with the coated side facing the wall after on-site application. Allow them to dry and cure for half a day before tile installation or subsequent construction.
Reinforcement Layer Construction (for Insulation Boards)
Use a stainless steel trowel to press the anti-crack mortar onto the insulation board.
Embed the glass fiber mesh into the mortar and smooth the surface.
Overlap the joints of the mesh by 10cm (3.9 inches), ensuring the glass fiber mesh is completely embedded.
The total thickness of the fiber-reinforced surface layer should be approximately 2-5mm.
Precautions
1.Substrate Preparation: For highly absorbent or excessively dry substrates, first apply a sealant or spray a small amount of water to moisten the surface before construction.
2.Transportation: Protect the mortar from moisture, rain, and direct sunlight during transportation.
3.Temperature Requirements: Construction and storage temperatures must be above 5℃.
